Stuffed cabbage can be a time consuming dish, but not ours! It's a one pan, "unstuffed" version! Simply brown the meat, add the rest of ingredients and in 20 minutes it's ready to enjoy! Comfort food doesn't get much easier than this.
1 pound lean ground beef1 cup chopped onion4 cups chopped cabbage3 tablespoons brown sugar2 cups cooked white rice
- In a large skillet brown ground round and onions until onions are tender; drain well. Add cabbage, crushed tomatoes, brown sugar and rice.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
