Sweet Turkey Chili
A simple chili recipe with three types of beans, turkey, diced tomatoes, spices and a touch of sweetness. This thick and rich chili recipe will surely be added to your regular dinner menu.
1 pound ground turkey1 (46 ounce) can Red Gold® Fresh Squeezed Tomato Juice 46 oz1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz1 onion, chopped1 teaspoon dill weed1/2 teaspoon dried oregano1 teaspoon garlic powder1 (15 ounce) can chili hot beans1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained1 (15 ounce) can red beans, rinsed and drained1 (1.25 ounce) package chili seasoning packet1 tablespoon chili powder1/2 cup sugarSalt and black pepper to taste
- Brown turkey in large soup kettle, break into crumbles. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Add water if desired for a thinner chili or add more tomato juice for a thicker consistency.
- Option: Top with shredded cheese.
